GEODZ 824

Geodesign Models II: Process and Impact

The course provides a detailed exploration of Process and Impact models and delves into the questions each model answers through the iterations of the Geodesign Framework. In GEODZ 824 students explore the significant questions, means, motives, and the inherent values particular to these two domains of models.

The course teaches students how to link content of Process models to Impact models and describes how these results inform the key model in the geodesign process – the Decision model. In this course students are also exposed to an additional domain of models: Change models. Students who successfully complete the course will be able to identify how different design alternatives generated from Change models impact geographic processes.
