Caitlin Smith is the newest faculty member to join Penn State’s online Geodesign graduate program.

Dr. Michael Flaxman has joined the Penn State landscape architecture department’s online geodesign graduate program as a new faculty member.

Designing land-based projects that are sustainable can be challenging.

The MPS in Geodesign from Penn State is offered entirely online. A difficult bridge to gap will be creating a studio feel in an online environment.  We have a few ideas about the best way to do that using the existing technologies available to us.  Earlier this month, Professor Kelleann Foster spoke with Andrew Barbour, an editorial freelancer with eCampus News.

The 2014 Geodesign Summit will take place January 29-30. This year there will be two separate talks given by Penn State Landscape Architecture Faculty.

Penn State has announced the creation of a master of professional studies (MPS) degree in geodesign, with applications now being accepted. A rapidly emerging discipline, geodesign incorporates concepts and methodologies from geography as well as architecture, landscape architecture and other sciences to creatively respond to social and environmental changes and challenges.

The College of Arts & Architecture is excited to announce the offering of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).
